What It's Made Of

This Rose variant uses a temple-flower-only base rather than the cow dung and temple flower base used in Gulessence's other Rose cone, blended with traditional aromatic herbs and essential oils, finished with a rose fragrance profile.

Ingredient Breakdown

  • Temple Flower (recycled) — repurposed floral offerings, the sole base material in this variant
  • Loban (Benzoin resin) — traditional purifying resin, common in temple dhoop
  • Jatamasi — Ayurvedic herb traditionally used for a calming aroma
  • Nagarmotha — aromatic root used traditionally in Indian incense-making
  • Sugandh Kokila — aromatic bark, traditional incense ingredient
  • Haubera — aromatic wood used in traditional dhoop blends
  • Natural Herbs — supporting herbal blend
  • Essential Oils — used for the finishing fragrance

Fragrance profile: Rose. This is the scent character of the blend rather than a separately listed raw ingredient in the current ingredient panel. This variant contains no cow dung.

Traditional & Ayurvedic Use

Rose has a long-standing place in Indian ritual and temple offerings, traditionally associated with devotion and used in floral garlands and puja settings. This is a cultural and traditional association, not a medical claim.

How to Use

  1. Hold a lit match to the tip of the dhoop cone until a flame appears.
  2. Blow the flame out gently.
  3. Place the smoldering cone on the included ceramic plate or a dhoop stand.

Non-edible and not for human consumption. Keep out of reach of children.

When to Use This Rose Dhoop Cone

  • Daily puja — as part of a regular morning or evening aarti routine
  • Festivals — Diwali, Navratri, and other occasions where dhoop is traditionally lit
  • Meditation — to mark the start of a sitting practice
  • Home fragrance — a floral note for everyday use

Rose (Temple Flower) vs Other Gulessence Dhoop Cone Variants

  • vs Rose (Cow Dung & Temple Flower): Same rose fragrance profile — this variant uses temple flowers only, with no cow dung base.
  • vs Nirvanasence: Both are temple-flower-only bases; Nirvanasence carries a signature herbal blend rather than a floral fragrance.
  • vs Loban: Loban is built around the resin itself as a listed ingredient with a traditional havan character.
